Thank you for opening up your heart and homes to a new best friend! Nearly 4 million dogs are euthanized every year due to backyard breeders and puppy mills. Although adopting from a rescue shelter may be a little more expensive than finding a new furrever friend from a backyard breeder, keep in mind that first shots, deworming and spaying/neutering is including in the adoption fee. Rescue shelters work closely with veterinarians and trainers - they're a great support network.
